The presumptive Republican nominee, John McCain, reveals all in one week that although the story is:
He’s Mr. “I don’t roll with lobbyists”… apparently however it’s his whole crew!
He’s Mr. “I’m all about the ethics”… but today his Co-Chair Renzi is

That first link - the interview with Howard Dean is great. Almost makes me want to give the DNC some cash…
I think I’ve taken the Summer Shoe Pledge in perpetuity, BTW. Hell, I even follow it in the winter…
Great post, Juliana. Thank you!

I have to add to the summer shoe pledge:
I will not wear clunky though comfortable sandles with socks, even if the colors match my outfit exactly. This was a trend back in the gauzy skirt and stonewashed jeans days, and is the female equivalent of white belts on plaid bermuda shorts.
I have circulation issues that make my toes turn blue in airconditioning, I will buy sandles that cover my toes, not wear socks in July!
And finally, nobody cares whether you shave your legs, but if you don’t, and have dark leg hair, there is no excuse to wear panty hose w/hairy legs.
Tights work way better, are warmer, and cover up the leg fur. Esp. spanx, which are reversable, brown on one side, and black on the other, and remove all panty lines, tuck your tummy, lift and shape your bum,(not that I have much of one, lol) and all without the muffin symdrome that entirely too many women allow to puff over their control top panty hose.
Thanks for letting me get that off my chest, and good Saturday morning to you all, the fog is beautiful here, very gothic.

Dear Lord! I cannot believe that someone had to write down the Summer Shoe Pledge. Isn’t that common sense???
Who are these people that don’t know that kind of stuff??? Bless their hearts…
