ATLANTA (FOX 5) — The I-team has learned the director of Georgia’s Environmental Protection Division overruled her own staff and federal regulators to give developers permission to build on top of a stream near Lake Lanier. The director denies politics played a part in her decision. But one of the developers is also chairman of the state Department of Transportation. Dale Russell reports.

Do we not remember what they “accomplished” in the last presidential election year? Gay Marriage Ban anyone?

I would rather they screw around with license plates than other crap that actually harms people

I suspect that the reason they dropped the Human Life Amendment is because they saw the serious numbers of Dems who came out to vote on Feb 5th and figured the HLA wasn’t going to motivate anyone but the oppposition (us) to show up in the fall, and and frankly that would NOT have been in their interest at all.

Sorry to say it, I don’t think it was our Reproductive Justice groups and their lobby efforts that killed it, but simple math, we showed up they didn’t. Plus they didn’t even have the support of their own coalition. Again, something fishy about that deal.
