Last year we were fortunate to have a full slate running in the East Cobb area as Democrats, while their successes had to measured in excitement and effort rather than wins, neverless we were thrilled to see serious people running serious races.
This year voters in House District 45 have the opportunity to vote for RuthE Levy. RuthE is a returning candidate, last cycle she ran for Senate. We welcome her back to the Democratic ticket.
A new challenger has emerged in the all important School Board Post 5 race, being vacated by the oh so cleverly named Johnny Johnson. I received her press release today. Her opposition on the GOP side is none other than Darryl O Wilson. Yes, he jumped ship some time this winter.
Linda J. Schwartz announced today that she was launching her campaign running for the Cobb County School Board, Post 5 as a Democrat.
This is her first venture for political office; she has the support of many neighbors and friends.
